Encrypted Storage	Secure storage of medicine data using industry-standard encryption protocols.
LLM Formatting	Use of Google Gemini or similar large language model to process extracted prescription text into structured medicine data.

3. User Account & Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate information for any account creation.
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of account credentials.
• You agree not to misuse the app for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Users must ensure only medicine-related data is uploaded. Any other information uploaded is the user's responsibility.

4. Data Collection & Usage

✅ MediAid only collects and stores medicine-related information:

• Medicine names
• Dosage
• Frequency / schedule of intake

❌ MediAid does not store, or process:

• Patient name
• Doctor details
• Diagnosis or medical notes
• Any other personal or sensitive information

5. Prescription Processing

1. Text Extraction: Uploaded prescriptions are read using Google Vision/ML services.
2. LLM Processing: Extracted text is processed using Google Gemini to format and filter only medicine-related data.
3. Storage: Only medicine data (name, dosage, frequency) is stored. No other information is retained.

6. Nature of the Application

• MediAid is a general medicine reminder application.
• It is not a health record system.
• The app focuses exclusively on:
  • Scheduling medicine reminders
  • Tracking dosage and frequency
• Users are solely responsible for any additional data uploaded beyond medicine information. MediAid does not use or store it.

7. No Personal Data Storage

8. Third-Party Services

• MediAid integrates with Google Vision/ML (https://cloud.google.com/vision/docs) for prescription scanning.
• Extracted text is processed with Google Gemini (https://cloud.google.com/gemini/docs/discover/data-governance) as LLM to identify and format:
  • Medicine names
  • Dosage
  • Frequency
• ✅ Only medicine-related data is stored.

• Data is encrypted and stored securely with trusted cloud providers.

9. Security & Compliance

• All stored medicine data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
• Any data transmitted to servers complies with ISO 27001 standards.
• Users have the ability to delete all data at any time.

10. User Responsibilities

• Users must only upload prescriptions containing medicine-related information.
• Any additional personal information is uploaded at the user's own risk.
• MediAid does not monitor or store non-medicine information.
